“I believe that community theatre is America’s theatre. For a variety of reasons, community theatre thrives in this nation like nowhere else in the world. Seeing the positive impact that it can have on youth, seniors, area businesses, and a community’s identity is a humbling but energizing experience. Our ongoing challenge is to continue to raise the bar on our work-constantly make it better-while continuing to have that positive impact that theatre education and participation bring.”

The Idea ...

for Bellissimo Theatre Company originated with its founders Pete Cannizzaro and Andy Guerrasio recognizing the need for professional theatre in Forsyth County.  While this county offers so much for its residents there was something missing, a live theatre venue that could bring professional productions to our community.

Pete and Andy met while volunteering for a production at Riverwatch Middle School that their children performed in. This was the beginning of many years of volunteering for multiple theatre organizations. This led to the opportunity to lead the Acting Troupe of Lambert Booster Club where they continued to learn more about theatre production. During their time with ATL they assisted in producing many highly successful award winning shows. Although both of their children have graduated from Lambert High School, they still have a passion for theatre. With the support of their families Bellissimo Theatre Company was created.
